The main function of the stereotactic framework is to provide an accurate three-dimensional coordinate system during surgery to ensure that the surgical instruments can accurately reach the predetermined target position in the brain, while avoiding important brain functional areas and reducing the damage to the surrounding normal brain tissue.
The frame itself constitutes a three-dimensional coordinate system, usually with fixed marking points, which can be combined with imaging (such as CT, MRI) data to accurately calculate the physical spatial coordinates of the surgical target.
A guide arm or catheter attached to the frame can be moved precisely along the axis of the frame to guide surgical instruments (such as electrodes, biopsy needles, radiofrequency ablation needles, etc.) to a predetermined intracranial target.
Computer software was used to match the preoperative imaging data with the frame coordinate system in the actual operation to realize real-time navigation during the operation.
For prolonged neurosurgery, it is critical to ensure that the procedure is performed accurately to avoid damage to the nerve structure and to maintain a high degree of comfort for both the physician and the patient. To this end, the use of professional additional support accessories can effectively stabilize the patient's position, reduce discomfort, and create an ideal operating environment for the doctor, thereby improving the overall safety and success rate of the operation.

| A firm and precise fixation is achieved by forming three support points at different locations of the patient's head, ensuring that the head does not move during surgery. | By evenly distributing the pressure, three-point fixation minimizes pressure point injury to the patient's head and neck, reducing the risk of skin pressure sores and nerve damage. |

| Neurosurgery requires the patient to be in different positions, such as supine, side, or seated, and the head pillow needs to be able to adjust to accommodate these positions while keeping the head stable. | The head pillow in brain surgery is a kind of professional medical instrument designed for neurosurgery, which meets the technical requirements of surgical operation. |
